Upstream’s Juhee Park earns Certified Licensing Professional Certification

Juhee Park, CVA, CLP, of Upstream Partners, has successfully completed the certification process to earn the Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) certification. The CLP certification is granted only to individuals who have met a high bar of prerequisite qualifications and passed a substantive examination, testing knowledge and exposure to licensing and commercialization of intellectual property through active involvement in patenting, marketing, valuation, IP law, negotiation, business development and intellectual asset management.

CLP, Inc., a separately incorporated 501(c)(6) organization, administers the Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) exam and program. The Board of Governors includes representatives from industry organizations such as LES, AUTM, and BIO. The Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) program was launched in 2008 to recognize professionals who have demonstrated their experience and proficiency in the licensing and commercialization of intellectual property. The program was developed as an initiative of the Licensing Executives Society (USA and Canada).
