Sarah has consulting experience in fields ranging from HVAC to energy efficiency utility programs. Her curiosity and love for learning made Upstream Partners, with its diverse intellectual property needs, the perfect place to expand her consulting experience. She provides support on market research, data analysis, IP research needs, and website design.

Previously at ICF International, she led data analysis for seven energy efficiency programs run by Maryland Utilities, specializing in smart home technologies. Using Microsoft’s Power BI, she developed creative data visualizations and dashboards to inform clients on program updates.

Completing her undergraduate education in three years, at the College of William and Mary, she received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in a self-designed major: International Relations of Korea. She conducted research in the Political Psychology and International Relations Lab in Williamsburg, Virginia. Sarah was able to spend her “fourth” year traveling the Asia-Pacific region with her sister.

When Sarah is not researching for client IP needs, she can be found playing with her dog.
